Monolith Control is a 3 part series that creates a surreal minimalist world through basic motion graphic fundamentals. The head, the hand, and the finger are all parts of the body where a human has the most control and ability to manipulate. However, there are many things out of one's control like their environment and unplanned fates. The human features throughout this series symbolize control while the monoliths, orbs, and shifts in lighting and color symbolize uncontrol in one's life. The juxtaposition of these 2 ideas are what I believe give balance to seemingly inconsistent world.
